This day included a few of my favorite things: a waterfall, hiking, marriage, and these lovely ladies. It’s always so fun for me to get to show clients (FRIENDS!) around Central Oregon – especially the trails that I have held dear to my heart for many years. We spent the afternoon hopping from moss covered rock to moss covered rock at the base of the waterfall, wading through the ice cold waters, laughing a lot, and getting these two lovely ladies HITCHED!
Elopements are so special, and I feel so thankful to be present on days like this one. To sign my name as a witness to the forever union of two souls is pretty amazing. Andrea and Lauren, thank you for letting me be a part of your day – and for being up for a dirty Central Oregon adventure (in wedding dresses no less)! “Tori was amazing from the jump! My wife and I had never been to Central Oregon but decided to road trip up and elope. Partly because we had been wanting to check out Bend. But mostly because, after briefly meeting her and seeing her work on social media, we wanted Tori to shoot our ceremony! Along the way, she was always quick to answer our crazy inquiries regarding everything to do with our ceremony, had the best suggestions regarding locations & other vendors and even agreed to be a witness for us!
She made the day of our actual ceremony easy, spontaneous and ridiculously fun! We were both nervous and felt slightly uncomfortable being in front of the camera, but from the second we got out of the car to prep for our hike in our dresses, we were instantly comfortable with Tori. She was down for any and all adventures which included standing IN the water at the base of a freezing cold waterfall while we exchanged vows, hiking over rocks, down ravines and trudging through creeks to get the best shots.
We left there with the hugest smiles on our faces, not only because we were newlyweds (DUH!) but because we both felt like we had just been on the best hike of our lives with a new friend. Everyone raves about our photos and she really helped capture every moment so that our friends and family could feel like they were a part of it all, even though they weren’t there! Tori is magic and hiring her to capture our elopement was hands down the best decision we made!”
