Since I’m based in Bend, the majority of weddings I shoot are either in the woods, at a barn, or a resort, and I can’t complain – we have some of the most amazing views and venues here in Central Oregon! I love working in the great outdoors. But this means that I rarely get to shoot in the city or downtown. Honestly, I’m not even sure I was aware of what I was missing out on! But thanks to Sam & Tyler, I got the opportunity to shoot the urban wedding of my dreams! It was so fun to mix it up this day – we shot portraits at Laurelhurst Park and then the ceremony and reception were at Yale Union, in Southeast Portland. If only there were more urban wedding venues in Bend! (A girl can dream, right?)
Sam and Tyler, your day was an absolute dream – not just because of the beautiful urban setting or organic greenery, but because of the love between you the two of you, and also around you – you have an absolutely amazing support system!
